Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American performer and actress. Her first release was funny, well-written lyrics in rap that dealt with topics like race and sexuality. Later, she broadened her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was through the instrument of trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was in her teens. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even learning Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. She didn't start focusing on music until the time she graduated. The track My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in 2012. It was eventually included on her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also contained were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitche$1. The last track was linked directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, published in 2015. Apart from being a published author, her other career was singing. In addition to early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in the year 2018, with several movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
